How was your Diwali

October 23, 2009

or Deepavali (as i say)???

Mine was fun and hetic… from this year onwards we decided not to go near crackers unless there are kids around (even then limiting to sparklers and a couple of flower pots). Call it a Green Initiative or our part to curb the accident that occur at every stage of the crackers, right from production then transport/storage to bursting them.. or to stop burning money during recession 🙂

Diwali - Diyas

Diwali - Sweets
we just decorated the house with lots of diyas, made sweets at home (part of my training from my MIL :-)) and ofcourse there is a short puja.

Hope you all had a fun and safe Diwali/Deepavali
