    Beads make a style statement

If you are worried of ever fluctuating gold prices, why not make a style statement with beaded jewellery. Meet Anusha Krishnamurthy, a software techie, for whom designing beaded, kundan jewellery is more than a hobby. She designs a wide range of jewellery with beads, crystals, kundans etc.

“I started designing jewellery as a hobby and it soon turned into a passion. I source beads, crystals and other material from various places for my jewellery,” she says. Anusha’s collection includes bangles, bracelets, necklaces, ear rings, anklets and other accessories that fit into all pockets.

Anusha also takes orders for customised jewellery and her collections are now being sent to countries like Singapore and Mauritius. “Designing jewellery is a great stress buster. There is lot of personal and professional satisfaction involved in it. I want to teach this art and it is simple. What all we require is a little bit of creativity,” she says. Anusha can be contacted at 98409-24179.

Hi this is Gitanjali. For truly handcrafted beauties, check out S.Ahalya’s lovely store Rasvihar which is located in Nungambakkam. She’s arguably the best. I have seen some jhumkies which are sooooo beautiful. The showroom is lovely, too.
